Hotel Arcadeon: A Harmonic Composition of Technology and Design

Transforming Spaces and Sustainable Concepts

Designer Emell Goek Che creates a magical atmosphere within Hotel Arcadeon, combining contemporary design with the latest technology and sustainable concepts. The hotel offers unique functionality and a captivating experience for its guests.

Emell Goek Che, the visionary behind Hotel Arcadeon, aimed to create an atmosphere that inspires, motivates, and captivates. The hotel is a place for encounters, communication, meetings, and learning. With a focus on sustainability, innovative design, and flexible functionality, Hotel Arcadeon stands out as a unique destination.

One of the standout features of Hotel Arcadeon is its transforming rooms, known as Think Tanks. These rooms can be booked as single rooms for overnight stays or as coaching or meeting rooms for up to four people. This flexibility allows guests to make the most of their stay and utilize the space according to their needs.

The design of Hotel Arcadeon incorporates sustainable materials, such as oak from sustainable cultivation and recyclable materials. Emell Goek Che collaborated with international manufacturers to create custom-made furniture, designs, and art installations, ensuring a unique and visually stunning experience for guests.

The restaurant at Hotel Arcadeon is a perfect example of the hotel's harmonious design. The space is divided into middle and side sections, with different lamps and seating furniture creating a distinct atmosphere in each area. The middle section features oversized custom-made lamps that cover the seating area, giving it a cozy and private feel. The restaurant's design incorporates smooth contrasting materials and elegant shaded colors, creating a harmonious and inviting space.

Hotel Arcadeon also embraces technology with a 9-square-meter tall 4K video wall, adding a touch of modernity and innovation to the space. This integration of technology enhances the overall guest experience and sets Hotel Arcadeon apart from traditional hotels.

The renovation process for Hotel Arcadeon took place from late 2016 to the end of 2017. Located in Hagen, Germany, Hotel Arcadeon is officially known as ARCADEON Hotel - House of Science and Education. The design concept was meticulously researched and executed by Emell Goek Che and her design studio, Artemell.

Hotel Arcadeon has received recognition for its outstanding design. In 2019, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award acknowledges the hotel's innovative and creative design, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology.

Hotel Arcadeon is a testament to the power of design to create a unique and captivating experience. Emell Goek Che's vision, combined with sustainable concepts, contemporary design, and the latest technology, has transformed Hotel Arcadeon into a destination that inspires and captivates guests from around the world.
